This year marks three decades in an industry I adore. Thirty years of fashion, music, art, ideas - and the wild, unpredictable journey of building a brand from scratch with my husband and partner in life, Sascha. Together, we’ve hustled, we’ve learned, we’ve made mistakes (plenty of them), picked ourselves back up and kept going - always hungrier, always bolder. From winning “Best Start-Up” back in the early ’90s in Scotland to delivering campaigns for some of the world’s most iconic luxury brands today, every twist and turn has shaped who we are.

We’ve deliberately kept Hartmann House small - but our ideas? They’ve always been big. We’ve invested when it mattered, we’ve built an in-house creative team because storytelling fuels us. We don’t just design campaigns, we direct, film, edit and compose. We create audio identities, we write and produce music, and we fuse fashion, music and art into everything we do. That fusion is our heartbeat. And with Sascha’s fluency in Italian and German, our work naturally stretches across Europe, adding another layer of perspective and possibility.

We’ve been lucky to work with luxury icons and corporate powerhouses, and to advise leaders across industries. But it’s not just about the big names. For years, we’ve supported our local community, donating our creative services to charities pro bono and backing the next generation of fashion talent through our work with the British School of Fashion. Giving back has always been a non-negotiable part of this journey.

Three decades in, I can honestly say - I love this business more than ever. It’s relentless, it’s inspiring, it’s demanding, and it’s magic.
